Sacred Monster EXPOSED: FELA!

Fela’s story, music and energy is being brought to life on Broadway for a new audience to experience a part of history. Fela Anikulapo Kuti was a Nigerian musician who pioneered afrobeat music. Fela was influenced by American jazz, funk and the Black Power Movement of the 1960s and 70s. The content within Fela’s music was center around human rights and democracy.
